The online registration and fee payment for the IBPS CRP CSA-XVI Recruitment will be open from August 1, 2026, to August 21, 2026. The Preliminary Exam is tentatively scheduled for October 2026, and the Main Exam for December 2026.
A total of 11,403 indicative vacancies have been announced for the post of Customer Service Associate (CSA) across various public sector banks in different states and union territories of India.
Candidates must possess a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India. Additionally, mandatory computer literacy (operating and working knowledge) and proficiency in the local language of the state/UT they are applying for are required.
As of August 1, 2026, the candidate must be between 20 and 28 years of age. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
The application fee is Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST) for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. For SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and DESM candidates, the fee is Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST).
The selection process consists of two online examinations: a Preliminary Exam and a Main Exam. Candidates who qualify the Prelims will be eligible for the Main Exam. Marks from the Main Exam will be used for the final merit list. Shortlisted candidates will also have to qualify a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) before joining.
The pay scale for a Customer Service Associate is ₹ 24050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020-2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480. In addition to the basic pay, CSAs are eligible for various allowances and perquisites as per the rules of the respective participating bank.
No, since recruitment is done on a State/UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in only one State/UT. You will be required to appear for the online examination in a center within that particular State/UT.
