A total of 175 vacancies have been announced for Scientist/Engineer 'SC' posts. These include 99 for Electronics, 52 for Mechanical, 21 for Computer Science at ISRO Centres, and 1 each for Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science at the Autonomous Body (PRL).

Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10. The maximum age limit is 28 years as on September 16, 2026, with age relaxations applicable for specific categories as per Government of India orders.

All candidates are required to initially pay a processing fee of ₹750/-. However, the non-refundable application fee is ₹250/-. For women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates who appear for the written test, the full ₹750/- processing fee is refunded. For other candidates (General/OBC/EWS men) who appear for the written test, ₹500/- is refunded, making their effective fee ₹250/-.

The selection process comprises a Written Test/CBT followed by an Interview. Candidates will be short-listed for the interview in a 1:5 ratio based on their performance in the written test. The final selection panel will be generated by giving 50% weightage to Written Test marks and 50% weightage to Interview marks.

Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100/- per month. This is in addition to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance, as per existing government rules.
