Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process on the official UPSSSC website (upsssc.gov.in) if not already done. This is mandatory before applying for PET-2026.
Log in to the application portal using your OTR number or registered mobile number. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number for verification.
The application form will display details pre-filled from your OTR. Fill in the remaining required details such as Intermediate qualification (if applicable), marital status, EWS category, UP State employee status, dependent of freedom fighter, ex-serviceman, outstanding sportsperson, disability category, and details for age relaxation.
Review the declaration carefully. If you agree, select 'Yes', enter the 'Verification Code', and click 'Submit'. A Registration Slip with an 11-digit registration number will be generated. Save this for future reference.
Proceed to pay the application fee by clicking the 'Proceed for Payment' button on the Registration Slip. Payment can be made via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/UPI or SBI e-challan. Wait for payment confirmation without refreshing or closing the browser.
After successful payment and reconciliation, download and print your final application form. The application process is considered complete only after downloading/printing the form.
Applicants can modify certain details in the submitted application form (e.g., email, Intermediate details, marital status, EWS, age relaxation categories) from 10-08-2026 to 08-09-2026 by logging in with OTP verification.

UPSSSC PET 2026 (Preliminary Eligibility Test-2026) is an eligibility examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) for shortlisting candidates for various Group 'C' posts in Uttar Pradesh government departments. It is mandatory for all candidates aspiring for Group 'C' positions under UPSSSC.
The online application process for UPSSSC PET 2026 starts on August 03, 2026. The last date for online registration, application submission, and fee payment is September 01, 2026. The last date for fee adjustment and application amendment is September 08, 2026.
The application fee for UPSSSC PET 2026 is Rs. 185 for General and OBC categories, Rs. 95 for SC and ST categories, and Rs. 25 for PwD candidates (only online processing fee). Dependents of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Outstanding Sportspersons, and Women candidates pay fees as per their original category.
Candidates must have passed High School or an equivalent examination to be eligible for UPSSSC PET 2026. The age limit is 18 to 40 years as on July 01, 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per UP Government rules (e.g., 5 years for SC/ST/OBC, 15 years for PwD, 5 years for
