The application process starts on September 16, 2026. The last date to pay the application fee is October 15, 2026, and the last date for application amendment is October 19, 2026. The written examination is scheduled for December 03 and 04, 2026.
A total of 12405 vacancies have been announced. This includes 11508 posts for Assistant Teacher Primary (Urban) and 897 posts for Assistant Teacher Attached Primary.
Candidates must hold a Graduate degree from a recognized university along with a recognized teacher training qualification (like BTC, D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, etc.) and must have qualified the State TET or Central TET.
The application fee is Rs. 1,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, Rs. 500 for SC/ST candidates, and Rs. 300 for PwD candidates.
The selection process primarily involves a Written Examination, followed by Document Verification for the shortlisted candidates.
Selected candidates for both Assistant Teacher posts will receive a salary as per Level-6, with a pay scale ranging from a minimum of ₹ 35,400 to a maximum of ₹ 1,12,400.
For Assistant Teacher (Urban), the age limit is 21 to 40 years as on July 01, 2026. For Assistant Teacher (Attached Primary), the minimum age is 21 years as on July 01, 2026, with a retirement age of 62 years. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
