There are a total of 80 vacancies announced for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation.
Selected candidates for the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner post will be appointed at Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
The selection process for UPSC APFC 2026 involves a Pen & Paper Based Recruitment Test (RT) followed by an Interview. The weightage for the RT and Interview will be in the ratio of 75:25 respectively.
Candidates (except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/-. Female, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from fee payment.
The age limit for the UPSC APFC post is 35 years for UR/EWS candidates, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates. Age relaxation is also applicable for PwBD candidates up to 10 years (maximum 56 years).
Candidates must possess a Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. A Diploma in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration is a desirable qualification.
The Pen & Paper Based Recruitment Test (RT) for Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner will be conducted by the Commission on 20.12.2026.
Yes, there will be a penalty for wrong answers in the UPSC APFC Recruitment Test. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question.
