The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a one-stop solution through which various scholarship schemes offered by Central Ministries and State Departments are made available to eligible students across India. For the academic year 2026, NSP will once again open its application window, inviting students from economically weaker sections and marginalized communities to apply for financial assistance to pursue their education. This portal aims to ensure timely disbursement of scholarships and create a transparent database of applicants.

Students from Class 1 to Post-Doctoral levels, belonging to various categories like SC, ST, OBC, Minorities, and General (EWS), can find suitable scholarship schemes. Key scholarships include Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, and Merit-cum-Means scholarships. Applicants are advised to keep all necessary documents ready, including Aadhaar card, bank account details, income certificate, domicile certificate, and previous year's mark sheets, to ensure a smooth application process.
