The online application process for MP Police Subedar/Sub Inspector Recruitment 2026 starts on September 09, 2026, and the last date to apply is September 23, 2026. Application corrections can be made until September 28, 2026.
A total of 507 vacancies have been announced for various Subedar and Sub Inspector posts, including Subedar (81), Sub Inspector (SAF) (69), Sub Inspector (DEF) (312), Sub Inspector (Arms) (10), Sub Inspector (Photo) (9), Sub Inspector (Q.D.) (4), and Sub Inspector (Finger Print) (22).
Selected candidates for Subedar and Sub Inspector posts will receive a pay scale of Level 9, which is Rs. 36200-114800 per month. Additionally, a stipend system applies for the first three years (70%, 80%, and 90% of minimum pay respectively), along with other government-approved allowances.
The selection process involves multiple stages: a Preliminary Examination (objective type), a Main Written Examination, a Physical Efficiency Test, an Interview, and Document Verification. The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in these stages.
The application fee for unreserved candidates is Rs. 500/-, while SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates who are domicile of Madhya Pradesh pay Rs. 250/-. An additional processing fee of Rs. 200/- (Unreserved) or Rs. 100/- (Reserved MP Domicile) is required for the second stage written exam. A portal fee of Rs. 60/- (Kiosk) or Rs. 20/- (Registered Citizen User) also applies.

The selection examination for Subedar/Sub Inspector posts is scheduled to begin on October 28, 2026 (Wednesday). The exam will be conducted in two shifts: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
